The collection included illustrations of flowers, natural history, customs, punishments, and naval scenes.  There appears to have been some Indian influence in the style of illustration as well as subjects including a depiction of the mango, native to India.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe work had two bookplates: one from Henry Rogers Broughton and the second from Winifred Bois.  Broughton (1900-1973) amassed one of the most important collections of botanical art in the world.
