Schmied’s Cent Frontispieces – 60 Engravings of Frontispieces

This interesting and rare volume features 60 illustrations entitled Cent Frontispieces. It was published in Paris by Francois Louis Schmied in 1918 and was limited to 50 copies.. The volume is six booklets bound to one volume that included previously published frontispieces from Charles Martin, Lepere, George Barbier, Simeon, Bonfils, Vox, Lepape, Jou, Emile Bernard, Laboureur, Bracons, Welches, Brandel, Stern, Karpeles, J. Buhot, Bruyer, and Le Breton. It is presented in hard-cover with slide protective cover.
