The volume features 126 photographs done by Henri Carttier-Bresson. The captions to all the photographs is also printed to the back of the book.
Verve was a renowned quarterly art journal that ran from 1937 to 1960. It was founded in Paris by the art critic, Tériade. The journal published art from several noted artists including Picasso, Matisse, Leger, Miro, Rattner, Bores, Daumal, Braque, and more.
