Beaumont’s Select Views of the Antiquities and Harbours in the South of France – Volume with 12 Hand-colored Aquatint Engravings

This fine volume is Jean Francois Alabanis Beaumont’s Select Views of the Antiquities and Harbours in the South of France. The work was published in London by S. Hamilton in 1794. The volume is bound in leather with recent half red morocco over the original marbled boards with 12 originally hand-colored aquatint engravings. It is the first and only edition published and is complete as issued. The illustrations are beautiful views of the South of France including Antibes, Toulon and Marseilles.
