Frontispiece with Yacht

This beautiful folio chromolithograph is from Henry Shields and James Meikle’s Famous Clyde Yachts. Thw work was published in Glasgow and London by Oatts & Runciman between 1880 and 1888. It was an historically important series that depicted famous 19th century yachts on the Clyd River area of Scotland. The images are based off watercolors by Henry Shields. The work was arranged and written by James Meikle.
