There are 80 originally hand-colored engravings of birds and nests that were drawn from life.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eJames Bolton (1735–1799) was an English illustrator and naturalist. \u003cem\u003eHarmonia Ruralis\u003c\/em\u003e is widely considered his masterpiece.
