Benjamin Fawcett is credited for creating the prints after drawings by A. F. Lydon.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe work featured comprehensive text on the feeding and rearing of each bird kept in captivity.  \u003cem\u003eParrots in Captivity\u003c\/em\u003e was expansive in material featuring vibrant illustrations of macaws, cockatoos, lories, parrots, parakeets, and lovebirds.
