This is the reduced (in size of printing) edition of \u003cem\u003eAntiquités... Tirées du Cabinet de M. Hamilton\u003c\/em\u003e first published in 1766. (Blackmer)\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe engravings illustrate Sir William Hamilton's collection of ancient vases. The work is of particular importance in the development of neo-classical designs for pottery and porcelain, including Wedgwood.  The copperplate engravings were done by F. A. David and on chain-lined paper.
