Each edition completed for this work is exceedingly scarce.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePardies's star atlas is beautifully decorative.  He figured his constellations after Johann Bayer's \u003cem\u003eUranometria\u003c\/em\u003e but designed them over sections of the sky to six double page sheets.  The six pages can be joined to create one large view of the sky.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePardies (1636-1673) was a French Jesuit mathematician and astronomer. He created a number of celestial schemes and maps of the heavens.
