Description of the work:
This superb color mezzotint portrait was published by The Museum Galleries in London between 1921 and 1929. Several engravers contributed to the work including George Sydney Hunt, Thomas Hamilton Crawford, H. Scott Bridgwater, Francois Petitjean, H. Blackburn Hart, and more. Each mezzotint features the signature of the engraver below the image and is numbered and naming the portrait subject in the lower right.
