Wendel.\u003c\/em\u003e  The work was published in 1868 in Groningen by J. B. Wolters.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe plates were lithographed by A. J. Wendel and include the Dutch text when available.  Heinrich Witte (1829-1917) served as the head gardener of the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden.  He cultivated many plants for the garden including the Victoria amazonica.
