This handsome folio engraving is from Antonio Maria Zanetti's Delle Antiche Statue Greche e Romane, che nell' antisala della libreria di San Marco, e in altri luoghi pubblici di Venezia si trovano. The work was published in Venice in 1743.

The work features illustrations of classical sculptures conserved in the Veneitan public collections Each engraving is paired with a very decorative text page which we also have provided a picture of in the listing. The engravings were completed by Giovanni Antonio Faldoni, Giovanni Cattini, Carlo Gregori, and G. Patrini.
